Blogrolls - work in hand
Tuesday, September 21, 2010
Because of problems with the code used to embed my blogrolls (resulting apparently from problems experienced on some browsers with using links to the blogroll host company) I am having to migrate all my blogrolls to a new host. There is quite a lot of work involved so it will take me some time to complete it. I hope to get my blogrolls up and functioning again within the next couple of weeks -
Está lloviendo de nuevo en Murcia
Tuesday, October 13, 2009
The lovely bright morning we started off with here in Murcia was destined not to last, according to the early-morning weather forecast on two of the Spanish television channels I watch (the national TVE and the local 7RM) and the sky duly clouded-over by late morning and in the early afternoon the rain started and has since strengthened with bouts of quuite heavy rain. Accentuating the positive,
A belated "Happy Second Birthday" to my blog ...
Wednesday, October 7, 2009
Last Thursday was the second birthday of 'casabill - the blog'. However, I haven't been blogging much of late, largely because I had a guest staying with me here at MCC for a week until Tuesday last and a preoccupation with recent events here at the 'Country Club'. As with the first year of blogging here, it's been another eventful (turbulent?) year for people in Spain and around the world and
New links added - March 2009 – p1
Tuesday, March 10, 2009
It's been a long time coming! Blogrolling.com was inoperative for updating blogrolls for about 5 months (since last October) and there have been many blogs I've started reading in the interval, some of which really merited being added to my blogrolls. There are also some blogs which have become dormant or taken down entirely which required to be 'pruned' from my lists. Happily Blogrolling.com was
Twitter feed added to right column of blog
Sunday, February 22, 2009
I mentioned a few days ago that I had recently started a mini/micro- blog using Twitter and that I'd probably add an RSS feed to this blog. Well, I just added it and you can find it near the top of the right column. I've taken the opportunity to amend the look and feel of my Twitter page to make it more compatible with this blog, for the the time I am in Spain, although the style will probably

New blog template up and running
Monday, December 1, 2008
I have now uploaded and 'tweaked' the new blog template. It seems to look alright on several PCs I have checked it on, but if you notice any unexpected effects in your browser, please let me know. Thank you.
Upcoming template change for 'casabill - the blog'
Sunday, November 30, 2008
Over the next few days, visitors to this blog will notice some major changes to how the blog looks; eventually the basic theme will end up looking similar to what is here now, but there may be some interim stages when it looks very decidedly different, whilst I get the layout 'tweaked'. However the basic blog content articles won't be changing in any way.I am in the process of changing the blog '
Slow loading of my blog page
Wednesday, November 19, 2008
Both this blog and my other blog (see link in right bar) have been loading VERY slowly for the past three or four days; although I thought I knew what the problem was/is I've become less certain that I do, because of various other things I have noticed. I don't think it has anything to do with my blogs per se, because I have seen that a number of other blogs seem to be having their own problems,
