Girl, 5, attacked by pet bulldog

A five-year-old girl suffered serious facial injuries after being attacked by an American Bulldog in Northampton.
The young girl's stepfather has also been reported to have suffered injuries after fighting with pets.
The couple was taken to hospital after the incident, but police said their injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
A statement from Northampton police said officers were called to Mill Court Rooster 7:15 p.m. BST on Sunday after reports of a dog attack.
A spokesman also confirmed that the dog had been contained and would be "killed".
