Maverick director Vishal Bharadwaj has longed to work with Aishwarya Rai for years. In fact, his planned first film Timbucktoo was supposed to star Ash, but the actress didn’t have dates back then.
Over the years, Vishal approached Ash for a number of projects, including his latest Saat Khoon Maaf, but the actress never had dates to spare, much to Vishal’s dismay and chagrin.
Now at last, the 36-year-old actress is in talks with Vishal for a project that will roll next year. So far, all that we know about the film is that it has a women-centric theme.
Ash has confirmed that “things are working out” for Vishal’s next film. She also admits that it’s her fault that she’s been turning down the talented director too often. But this time, she won’t shut the door on him.

Aishwarya RaiBachchan had finally turned the clock. She has been able to snatch the limelight from the Deepika Padukone who first graced the event in traditional costume. Ash on the sixth day of the Cannes Film Festival charmed everyone with a beautiful stone busy Sari and with minimal jewelry and simple low-necked blouse. She mesmerized everyone as she walked the red carpet holding husband and actor Abhishek Bachchan hand.
All of these day Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was in western clothes, because she had been compatible for her brand L'Oreal. As Ash represents the global face of L'Oreal, said its board that she has to represent itself in the western attire, but an Indian, Aishwarya beat her Indian side of dressing in Saree design by Sabyasachi.
Ash attended the Cannes film festival with her mother Vrinda Rai, about Raavan and her hubby dearest Abhishek Bachchan.

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai, who in topical years was wearing western clothes during the Cannes Film Festival, Monday will go down the red carpet at the gala event in an Indian outfit intended by Sabyasachi.
So far, she walked the red carpet in western clothes in Cannes when she was there as part of an international team of Loreal, marking her support, said her spokesman.
"Aishwarya is Loreal year after year, and per orders, she must have international Western fashionable clothes, a spokesman.
"This time" Raavan "Red Carpet is also an apartment building in Cannes, she planned to have an Indian dress for the occasion. The dress was designed by Sabyasachi," said spokesman added.
Directed by Mani Ratnam, "Raavan" is said to be a modern version of the epic "Ramayana".It also stars actor Abhishek Bachchan and south superstar Vikram, who plays a cop married to Aishwarya.
Aishwarya plays the lead role in both Hindi and Tamil version of the film.
