Her comedy performance in films like Daud opposite Sanjay Dutt was also appreciated. The film was related to stealing of property and the chase relating to them by Paresh Rawal and his men. Apparently there was hardly any action but serious comedy all along the film where Urmila Matondkar and Sanjay Dutt complimented each other.
This gorgeous actress proved her acting prowess in many films which includes RANGEELA, BHOOT, PINJAR, NAINA, EK HASINA THI and MAINE GANDHI KO NAHI MAARA. She grooved to dance numbers in films LAJJA, COMPANY and RAM GOPAL VARMA KI AAG. She even tried singing but only as a friendship gesture for legendary singer Asha Bhonsale’s album.
Urmila Matondkar acted in different types films. Films like Pinjar were made for the interest of serious viewers. While films like Rangeela addressed the common crowd. Urmila Matondkar exhibited her stylish andaz in the film opposite stalwarts like Amir Khan and Jackie Shroff. It was a superhit film and made Urmila Matondkar a leading star of bollywood.

With the mention of the word PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), one is filled with images of animals and their 'saviors' (the recent past includes the likes of John Abraham, Celina Jaitly, Sherlyn Chopra), who we better know as 'Ambassadors'. According to Bollywood Hungama's confirmed sources, the latest one to join this bandwagon is none other than Lara Dutta, who, the sources add has already shot an ad with greens all over her body. She will be supporting the cause of 'Go Vegetarian'.
Lara, for starters, has always been an animal lover. So much so, that her family even had the company of dogs, squirrels and baby monkey as pets. With her coming on board of PETA, it's needless to say that animals, birds and plants are now in not just safer hands, but also confident hands. What say, readers?

When producer Boney Kapoor ultimately sorted out the problems and wanted his 2005 film to release in the year 2010, things weren’t that easy. Milenge Milenge was into making when Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor were an item. Now the movie looks old.
So, for the promotion of the film Kareena shot for a special photoshoot, of course, without Shahid. She portrays a simple, young girl which is quite a romantic at heart and wants an ideal lover. One controversy or the other pop up every time a film is up for release – be it the link-up between the lead pair or organisations protesting the content of the film or the censor board objecting some scenes but I Hate Luv Storys directed by Punit Malhotra is free of all these. The film doesn’t enjoy publicity out of controversies but the lead pair of the film Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor like it this way.
Some guys do anything to stay in the news and even resort to cheap publicity for their films but Imran and Sonam don’t fall into this category. Maybe the media is not linking them because of Imran’s steady relationship with Avantika, but what about Sonam? She was earlier linked to the film’s director Punit Malhotra but it died down as its release date drew near.
Interestingly, I Hate Luv Storys pair said that they don’t want cheap publicity, but their chemistry on and off the screen has been talked about even more than the ‘made-up affairs’. This is no cheap publicity though!

Neetu Chandra, the girl-next-door is no longer the girl we thought her to be. After posing on the covers of various men's magazines, she's now gone and done something unbelievable.
Neetu has shot some sizzling photographs in a two-piece bikini. What's more, Neetu has a well-known female model posing is various positions with her. In fact, the entire photo shoot has lesbian undertones, which caused her many problems while shooting on a suburban beach. The local moral brigade was literally up in arms during the shoot, we hear.
Neetu, of course, insists that the photographs were shot aesthetically.
Movie Story
Neetu Chandra was born in Bihar on June 20, 1984. The actress did ads and videos for reputed firms since her graduation days in Delhi's IP College, and was an avid sportsperson before she made her debut in Bollywood.
Neetu has a black belt in Taekwondo, and has represented India in both Taekwondo and Korfball. The Akshay Kumar and John Abraham starrer Garam Masala was Neetu's debut film. She followed it up with Madhur Bhandarkar's Traffic Signal. Reportedly, Chandra spent a whole week living on the streets of Mumbai by a traffic light to get into the skin of the character.
Neetu Chandra also danced gracefully in a video album Rasiya Saajan for music director Ismail Darbar along with Zubeen Garg. The video was directed by noted video director S Ramachandran.
Other films starring Neetu include Godavari (Telugu), One Two Three, Summer 2007, Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! and Satyameva Jayathe (Telugu).
Her Tamil film, Yavarum Nalam with Madhavan released this year and was declared a major hit.
Neetu is now doing two major projects, one is Rann with Ram Gopal Varma and another one is Jag Mundra's Apartment.

Recent reports say that Bollywood Barbie Katrina Kaif is looking to shed her Barbie-doll image after portraying her serious role in Raajneeti. Now, however, we hear that Kat is awfully pleased with the alluring, sensual side of her that Farah Khan has brought out in Tees Maar Khan. So much so, that she has requested Farah to direct her in an ad for Etihad Airways!
Fickle or what?!
Nonetheless, becoming the face of Etihad will be Katrina's first airline endorsement, out of the many brands in her kitty.
Farah, who has directed for many other stars, confirmed that Kat approached her to direct her in the advert for Etihad Airlines. Katrina will be taking a day off from her filming of Zindagi Na Milegi Dubara, fly down from Spain to Abu Dhabi, to shoot for the ad in their airport lounge. No, Kat will not be playing an air hostess! Farah has already picked out a solo number that Kat will be performing to, and she is excited about the actress hearing out the scheme of things!
While we're far from the right people to give Katrina career advice, we wonder if presenting her glamorous side in an advertisement is the right way to get people to take notice of her acting chops instead of her looks! Or did we read too much into her solemn declarations not too many days ago?!

The actress and the crickter's increasing proximity is the talk of South Indian film industry these days. If rumour mills are to be believed, MS Dhoni is spending a lot of time with the Ghajini girl.
Recently, Dhoni spent about an hour and a half at Asin’s apartment. A source informs Mumbai Mirror, "Just before he left for the Asia Cup series in Sri Lanka (which began on June 15, 2010), he visited Asin’s house in Lokhandwala. The two of them were not watching a match but just chilling out."
Mumbai Mirror earlier reported that during IPL, India’s cricket captain visited Asin’s house at Lokhandwala to watch the semi-final match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians.
Dhoni and Asin have been in touch ever since they worked on two commercials last year.
