Nagesh Kukunoor most disappointed with his last offering 8x10 Tasveer. And most fans like yourself Kukunoor, we certainly hope that next time around he resurrected himself especially since he is the director would be fab films including Dor and Iqbal. A number of actors to line up with the famous director and John Abraham will work is to be one of those many. Aashayein movie couple bought together. The film was finally released in a bit of extra time but that is going out and promoting the film in all its grandeur did not stop the cast. When you think Kukunoor, you automatically views of reality, and certainly honest, devise a story that will make you think. Aashayein John Abraham also love to make you life and you already had more than promised.
Rahul Singh (John Abraham), the only one passion in life: gambling. In addition to having large wagers, meaning his or her life for no other reason, he believes. A big win one day and his girlfriend (Sonal Chauhan) Nafisa, Rahul faint after the proposal and diagnosed with lung cancer. He shows that he wants to gamble away their lives, handed his winnings to his girlfriend and a beachside Dharamsala, where he wishes to spend his last few days leaves. The hospice that he who all are racing against death, but she manages to teach valuable life lessons in an array of full time only.
Nagesh Kukunoor's Aashayein best work? No, not really. Compare Aashayein Iqbal Dor or not, it should be a lot more sensitive. However that said, Kukunoor unique style and execution is clear. Such a touchy subject should be handled with careful precision and director takes an incredible experience to be able to come through. Aashayein is a more honest light you think about life and responsibilities. Kukunoor clearly understands that the Indian audience very emotional when it comes to life and death. With Aashayein, Kukunoor Indian spirit attacks and connects almost instantly. The script or trying to sense whether the emotions, she manages to do so with extreme precision and emotion.
Aashayein problem with hams and only parts of that script on top. The dialogue is cheesy, rubbish and tears just flow from every angle. Emotion should be fine in a movie. Aashayein, all around which is ultimately a sense overload. Film hovers on the borders and points away from making it almost unreal imaginary being. This brings up the below script which is the quotient. And then of course, the film's pace is far too slow. The slow death of John as slow to move and comes closer.
Aashayein John Abraham's glory shine. Actor Rahul Singh with such devotion and perfectionism becomes, it is unfathomable. John Abraham finally a performance that really exposed him as an actor comes out with. That makes you cry with emotion and he feels immense pain. And as much drama as much owns the film, the viewer help manage Abraham overlooked aspect of tears. Finally, he has come. Sonal Chauhan shows promise. Nair Anaitha watch out for one. Farida Jalal is a disappointment, however a lot as he hams. Ashwin Chitale young enthusiastic young boy, Rahul Singh, the rigorous management of change is as awesome.
In its totality, Aashayein promising and filled with emotion. The problem with the film is simple: it is emotionally far-fetched and too slow. There are scenes that you are overwhelmed with tears and emotion are a number. Aashayein to be seen at least once, especially since Abraham himself as an actor ... Finally revealed!

Shakti Kapoor’s daughter Shraddha signs Three-Film deal with YRF

The well-known Bollywood actor Shakti Kapoor’s daughter Shraddha Kapoor made her debut with the movie Teen Patti starring Big B. The movie could not do well at the box office but Shraddha got noticed by the filmmakers and the actress has now signed a three-film contract with Yash Raj Films.
Filmmaker Madhur Bhanderkar had to suffer the toll of this alluring deal. After getting the offer from YRF, she backed out of Bhandarkar’s next movie Dil Toh Bacha Hai Jee, in which she was cast opposite Ajay Devgan. However, Madhur did not take it as offence and signed Shazahn Padamsee in her place.
Shraddha informed Madhur that Yash Raj wanted exclusivity so she cannot continue with his film.
According to a source, “Yash Raj has been promoting new faces since last few years. Earlier, they signed Anushka Sharma for Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi opposite Shah Rukh Khan and then they launched the newcomer Ranvir Singh. Now, it’s the turn of Shraddha to get lucky. Like Anushka, Shraddha will also be working only for Yash Raj banner until she completes shooting for their three films”.
The source added, “Shraddha was called for a screen test and she impressed the YRF. The contract was signed few days ago after some talks. Shahid Kapoor and Ranvir Singh are two tentative names to be cast opposite her”.
The news was confirmed by the official spokesperson of the Yash Raj films.

Confession time! I’ve hated Bollywood love stories. The panoramic shots of a swashbuckling, mandolin wielding hero and a sari clad heroine dancing in slow motion against the backdrop of heavenly Swiss Alps inspired more slumber in me than a valium does. And - forgive me - those Karvachauth sequences when the heroine looks at the moon through the sieve and the dapperly hero steps in the frame just in the nick of time to consolidate her faith that theirs is janam janam ka saath have unfailingly resulted in me digging my head deep in popcorn buckets. Well, that was then. Now, I’m nearly a convert - thanks to Punit Malhotra’s debut film I Hate Luv Storys, which is - pardon the cliché - a hatke romantic saga.
Malhotra sifts mush out of romance and instead of giving us a fairytale love story of epic proportions, expansive sweep and overblown emotions, he simply gives us an every-day date flick which you can relate to and definitely enjoy with or without your girlfriend or boyfriend. Going further, Malhotra even cocks a snook at the syrupy love stories that Bollywood’s mush factory keeps churning out with clockwork consistency, not sparing in the process even the likes of Karan Johar (the film’s producer) and Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Jay (Imran Khan) hates love stories. The cool dude’s attraction towards fairer sex doesn’t go beyond flirtatious friendships or one night stands. Love, for him, doesn’t exist. So we can understand his plight when he has to work under Veer (Samir Soni), the flamboyant filmmaker known for making melodramatic romantic movies, the kind I spoke of earlier. To make matters worse, Jay is made an assistant to production designer Simran (Sonam Kapoor) who loves filmi love stories and even has a fiancé named Raj (Sammir Dattani).
Simran thinks her love story with Raj is just perfect; but Jay, the cynic that he is, thinks otherwise and keeps reminding her of Raj’s ‘fugly’ shirts and sugar-sweet overtures of love that are found only in films, not in real. The constant banter between Jay and Simran gives way to friendship, and before she knows it, Simran is in love with him. But the cool dude is blissfully unaware of her feelings. Will this love-atheist ever believe in the power of cupid’s arrow? Will Jay discover love?

Baptized as "feverish activity" of international trade periodical Variety, actor Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori newcomer story of unhappy love in Kites have surely touched the hearts of audience worldwide.
Although the reports are talking about a passive start in India, the figures for the gap weekend tells a different story. One of the most predictable films of 2010, had this Anurag Basu-directed film a giant breach in its first weekend.
While the film gross over Rs. 21 crore on the gap day in the country - the second uppermost ever, it was open was to create a directory kind globally.
Analyst said the first day collection points to an all-time high for the first weekend box office collection universal. Hrithik film also marks the main ever release for any movie. The film was released at the same time in 2000 screens across India through 10,000 daily and display over 500 screens abroad. Kites ran to full houses in 30 countries - an unprecedented achievement.
Sanjeev Lamba, CEO, Reliance Big Pictures, said: "We are very pleased with the film's first reaction at the box office, and expect that it will set new standards for the Indian film engineering."Producer Rakesh Roshan adds: "I am overwhelmed by the answer in India and overseas."
Kites have also earned high praise in the West. A New York Times account stated: "Mr. Hrithik Roshan require seen uncut: writhing on the dance floor or just stare into space, was the man made to drive women crazy, one video at a time." While the San Francisco record called the film a beautiful opera, The Hollywood Reporter writes, "Hrithik Roshan anchor the film with a solid, reliable performance, and a palpable chemistry with his co-star, will remind the audience how hot a good Bollywood explanation can be."
Kites will also see the international account titled Kites Remix, which opens worldwide on Friday. The film is presented by Hollywood's leading film director Brett Ratner of X-Men and Rush Hour 3 celebrity.

Russell Crowe fancies working in a Bollywood film

Hollywood star Russell Crowe wants to make characteristic Bollywood film, and says he can do his own playing, and dancing a bit too. The actress, who opened the Robin Hood 63 Cannes International Film Festival, has not yet talked to a couple of Indian investors.
"I do not think a typical Hollywood film, happens to be in India, but a Bollywood movie," Crowe told dailymail.co.uk reporter Baz Bamigboye in Cannes.
"The handwriting must be right and I want to appreciate exactly what I did. But I think that one goes. I could make myself sing, and I can dance a little," he additional.
Crowe has long been the lead singer and guitarist in the band's 30-digit foot of grunts, and earlier in his career, he joined the boards of Australia in a musical or two, including The Rocky Horror Show.
"I'm not busy. If amazing comes my way, fine, if not, so be it," said Crowe.
Crowe may have singing and dancing to go to Bollywood, but what about the lingo?
When asked if he could speak any Hindi, Crowe said: "No, mate."
Crowe follows Robin Hood with a function he was with Paul Haggis called the next three days.
Based on the French thriller, all for her, who played Diane Kruger, Vincent Lindon, it's about a man who helps his wife when she is accused of murder.
