He has been in the film manufacturing for almost a decade now and has received rave reviews for their performance in most of his movies. He made a great debut with RGV's Satya, who shot Manoj Bajpai in the limelight with his portrait of one of the most memorable characters from Bhiku Mhatre. There was no one to look back on Manoj after that.

The gifted actor is now all geared up for his upcoming film Raajneeti. While flying back from Lucknow Monday evening after a Raajneeti tour, Manoj Bajpai bought gifts for co-stars Ajay Devgn, Katrina Kaif and director Prakash Jha.

It all began when the plane came around the basket. Katrina admired a guard, and demand that Manoj buy it for her. This made the second rib Bajpai to just buy gifts for the lady.Ultimately, he ended up trade gifts for everybody. He has also picked up some of Ajay's daughter Nysa.

Manoj said: "It was not anything. I just bought a bracelet for Nysa. It was time for shopping my co-actors, who demanded that I buy them gifts from in-flight shopping."

Jha confirm "First Manoj bought gifts to Katrina. Then Ajay and I complain that why be supposed to we be? Katrina as a Friendship clock, so he rose from his seat and buy it for her.

Ajay and I looked at each other and then Ajay ask for a gift too. It was not fair that only Katrina would be a gift. So the poor guy broken up buying a Swarovski pen Ajay and Dolce & Gabbana cologne for me. "

Manoj says that his only condition for buying them gifts, was that everybody would have them all the time. He laugh: "Now Prakashji office oozes DG perfume, while Katrina immediately carried her colorful Friendship clock. Now I fear you must buy something for Ranbir also when we go to Delhi when he was not present on this trip."

Manoj plays Ranbir Kapoor's elder brother in the film. He adds: "I am the eldest son in the family and power hungry. In my Father, inherit me his power. My character is not based on any real life politician. I outlined my temperament on my own as I always do. In Raajneeti all have a shade of gray than Katrina. "
