Nexus One: Android 2.2 Froyo Update –Nexus One: Android 2.2 Froyo
Thursday, July 1, 2010
it has only been a few days since a new build of Android 2.2 Froyo became available for Nexus One users, but now we can confirm that Google has released a new build of Froyo, which is available to download manually as well as OTA on your handset.
As reported from Engadget, Google has made the new build, FRF91 available to download now. According to Engadget, the new update is a minor affair and was only released due to security measures.
The update should also be available OTA so if you are using a Nexus One now, look out for the notification over the weekend. If you find any hidden features after installing FRF91, be sure to leave us a comment below.

Android 2.2 Officially Arrives for Nexus One
Tuesday, June 29, 2010
While Android 2.2 was available for the Nexus One through unofficial channels for quite sometime now, there is always this thing about official announcements.
Google has finally, officially announced the arrival of Android 2.2 on the Google Nexus One. In a blog post announcing the update Google said that soon, Nexus One users will begin to receive the Android 2.2 (codenamed Froyo) over-the-air software update on their phones. The blog post adds some of the new features available with the Froyo - mainly the support for Adobe Flash within the browser and the fact that the phone can now be used as a wireless hotspot.
Nexus One users would ideally receive a notification to which they have to respond to be able to update. These notifications should start appearing in about a week's time on phones across the globe. The Nexus One, being Google's own handset, seems to be getting the priority treatment here since many other phones are yet to receive the Froyo update.
