Saraswati Puja 2011 is going to be celebrated on February 8, 2011. Saraswati Puja day is known with the name of Basant Panchami. People wear pale or yellow colored clothes on Basant Panchami as the day is celebrated to welcome basant ritu, i.e. spring season.
In Hindu religion, Saraswati is considered as the goddess of knowledge, arts &music. Maa Saraswati is companion of Brahma. Maa Saraswati’s image expresses that she is related to wisdom, knowledge, arts, creativity, studies etc.
