I read at the time of the exceptional waves that had occurred in Puerto de Mazarrón on 19th February 2010, but as I wasn't in Spain at the time didn't see them myself. However, I've just found this video-clip on YouTube of the phenomenon; it looks as if it would have been very impressive to see it on the day.
