American Idol: The Wyze Guy Wins
Wednesday's American Idol finale, Joe Cocker asked the musical question "What would you do if I sang out of tune? Do you want to stand up and walk me?"

And America answered: "Of course not! We next American Idol!

Oh, we tease DeWyze Lee. I hope that I could work up outrage over his victory the most versatile and polished Crystal Bowersox, but he says, "We have life we deserve." He gets it. This was their launching pad, and as soon as they get to leave the mothership Idol to go when Major Tom gone before, because it's a beautiful day, though every rose has its peaks.

Excuse me, I'm a bit lost. There were so many things happen on the last show! Sometimes I felt that I was watching a huge prom Lee and Crystal. Crazy Aunt Paula came and as usual, has lasted too long for his toast. Uncle Simon sat there like the mutant love child Don Corleone and Henry VIII, and please tell us all to kiss his ring between classes.

Then, when the last American Idol competitors were dressed in white to greet Simon, I felt like I was transported out mega-church in Colorado Springs. To address this issue, Lee might seem a boy who thought through the Bar Mitzvah Torah on his part and I wanted to open his gifts a secret and a few glasses of wine with friends. Instead, they liked what he up and singing group. Crystal, however, might be a damn good time and held his own with everyone from Alanis Morissette in a Joe Cocker.

The Beautiful Americans

Monday, February 22, 2010
This story is courtesy of the telegraph.co.uk:

Americans are the most attractive looking people in the world, according to a new survey.

The United States, home to George Clooney and Jessica Simpson, came top in a poll of more than 5,000 globe-trotting Britons.

In second place was Brazil while Spain, which boasts Hollywood actress Penelope Cruz as one of its natives, was third.

Blonde, tanned surfers of Australia saw it voted into fourth place, while Italy came fifth.

Sexy Swedes, such as model Victoria Silvstedt, helped it into sixth spot, but England only made it into seventh place in the poll.

India was eighth, France ninth, and Canada finished off the top 10.

England's neighbours didn't fare so well in the poll though as Wales only made it in at number 13, Ireland was at 16, and Scotland was a measly 19th.

A spokeswoman for www.OnePoll.com, which carried out the study, said: ''America has got a lot on offer and boasts some of the sexiest people on the planet.

''The likes of Jessica Alba, Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt all help America's image as a hot bed of good looking people.

''But with a population of more than 300 million, they do have an unfair advantage."

She added: ''England's talent only got them into seventh place and despite Gerard Butler waving the flag for Scotland, they only just beat the Germans.

''But in fairness, when you think of good looking countries, Sweden, Italy, France and Brazil talent all spring to mind before us lazy, pale Brits.

''If you're looking for some fun in the sun, you now know where to head on holiday.''

Other countries to feature in the top 20 include Portugal, Japan and Netherlands.

Germany completed the top 20.

Not A Laughing Matter

Friday, October 16, 2009
I'm never surprised at the true nature of human beings. An American woman caused an absolute riot in a clothing store by claiming that she had won the lottery and that she was paying for everyone's purchases who were in the store at the time. Of course, everyone loves a freebie so like moths to the flame, people were frantically grabbing what they could and running to the till. It turns out that this woman didn't have a cent to her name and let's just say she is clearly not a well person.

So instead of being civilized and walking away, maybe uttering a few words about the nasty hoax, people started throwing merchandise around and stealing! It's a difficult time, an unrelenting recession, but does that give people the right to behave like hooligans? I think not. Ms Brown, the loony culprit, was arrested on three outstanding warrants for aggravated menacing, misuse of a 911 system and causing false alarms. I actually feel sorry for her, she's clearly mentally disturbed and instead of people taking a closer look at her and her claims, they ran to the tills.

Are we that desperate for something free? Or I'm I being a little too judgmental on this? I'm not sure how I would react in that kind of situation because thankfully it's never happened to me, but I do know that I would have been a little more wary than the average joe. Every heard of there is no such thing as a free lunch? I have and from past experience with people, trust is earned and I wouldn't feel comfortable trusting someone to pay for my items that I've just met. But then again, I suppose every circumstance is different, if I was struggling to make ends meat and couldn't afford "luxury items" like clothes, that would be some kind of a god send. I suppose that's my true Libran way of thinking, I'm always on the fence.

So if you happen to be in a store and a woman comes in claiming to have won the lottery, you know what to do....

Mike Tyon's Tradgedy

Wednesday, May 27, 2009
It's a parents worst nightmare. Former heavyweight world champion Mike Tyson's four-year-old daughter died on Tuesday, a day after accidentally catching her neck in a cord on a treadmill at her home.

Exodus Tyson had been hospitalized on life support since Monday, when she was found with her neck wrapped in a cable of the exercise machine by her seven-year-old brother. The boy summoned his 34-year-old mother from another room, and the woman freed the girl, called an ambulance and tried to revive her.

Tyson, who doesn't live in the modest Phoenix house where the accident occurred, arrived Monday afternoon from Las Vegas and was filmed by television news cameras entering the hospital where Exodus was being treated.

When she passed away this is what the family had to say: "There are no words to describe the tragic loss of our beloved Exodus. We ask you now to please respect our need at this very difficult time for privacy to grieve and try to help each other heal."
