When this reviewer first wrote about the 2011 Hyundai Sonata immediately after it hit the market earlier this year, some considered the comments to have been negative.
It concluded that the much-heralded redesign of the Korean automaker's midsize sedan wasn't necessarily an improvement over its excellent predecessor, saying it is a different type of car but not necessarily a better one.
