Sweet and snack machines to be banned from Murcia schools

From the beginning of the next school term, sweet and snack machines are to be banned from schools in the Murcia region, a pioneering move for Spain. Apparently 30 per cent of children in Murcia are considered overweight and only 51 per cent of Murcians do physical activities, lower than the 61 per cent national average.
