2 Year Old Smoking

This Poor Baby - was my first consideration when it was an idiot who delivered the baby a "Smoke"?Get this, it was his father! What? I know, Right! And now this baby smokes an average of 40 cigarettes a day! This corresponds to two packs of cigarettes, I think, more than most adults in the U.S. smoke in a week. Talk about an luxurious habit for a boy rising up in Indonesia.

Indonesia reportedly has obtainable them a car if they are able to come Ardi to kick a habit. But parents do not seem overly worried about its rising habit, regardless of how your child acts when he does not have a cigarette to smoke.

"He is totally dependent. If he does not get cigarettes, he becomes angry and scream and battery substitute head against the wall. He tells me that he felt dizzy and nauseous."

The boy is apparently quite fare so well that refuses to stop smoking no matter which but premium packages, it costs the family $ 3.78 per day.

Shock for Spanish Smokers

Thursday, March 25, 2010

If you're living in Spain or you're thinking of moving there and you happen to be a smoker, then you should read this.

Spain's anti smoking legislation is set to ban puffing away on tobacco in closed public areas and they're not cutting any corners. The tough legislation has announced that they will allow smoking in two places, prisons and in the "shrinks" office. So it seems as though the prisoners will have something to smile about and if you see a psychiatrist then you're in luck. Smokers will be allowed to smoke in their Psyche's office for humanitarian reasons.I've got a feeling that quite a few Spanish psychiatrists will be fully booked once the new laws come into affect. Coming back to lighting up in prisons, it's been decided that banning nicotine, soft drinks and coffee would be a very bad idea. The inmates don't have much to look forward to and with out their daily addictions who knows what could happen. What's more is that there aren't even designated areas for smoking in Spanish prisons. So how would the staff and guards bring the new act into the prison routine.

It looks like the idea of smoking being allowed in small bars and large bars didn't last. Now Spain will have to get used to no smoking what so ever in public areas.

Not So Happy Hour

Tuesday, October 20, 2009

I've always firmly believed that alcohol is always being misused and can cause as much chaos as drugs, I know I sound like a bit of a prude but from past experience I can say with absolute certainty that there are people out there that simply cannot handle their liquor. I'm not against people drinking, I'm against the their actions when they are intoxicated.

Barcelona has currently instituted a ban on Happy Hour because of the disruptions caused by tourists getting drunk because of cheap prices. Why only have one beer, when you can buy two and get one free? or pay the same amount for two beers as you would normally pay for one? This is when it becomes a hassle. I agree with the government on this on. Just because their are special prices doesn't mean you can lose complete control and end up making a mess that someone else is going to have to clean up. I mean that in the literal and figurative sense.

I'm always amazed at how people go on and on about smokers. Treating us (yes I am a smoker) like the black plague but they don't seem to have a problem with drinkers who can vandalize property, become violent and beat each other up, the list is endless. Priorities, as human beings we are always getting that one wrong, what should be first on our list usually comes last.

I'm really all for having a rip roaring party and letting lose by having a couple of drinks but I can honestly say that I have never behaved in a derogatory manner or made a (complete) fool of myself. It was always good, clean fun. Nothing wrong with that. But of course, now the decent folk have been denied their half prices because of the actions of the unruly but I believe it's for the greater good. What do you think?
