Kangra is one of the largely unexplored travel destinations due to its remote location. Dachigram wildlife Sanctuary in Srinagar is is spreads across 140 square Km area and is at a distance of 25 km from the Srinagar valley. You can take bus or taxi to reach the sanctuary within 30 mins from famous Lal Chowk of Srinagar.

Please note that you need to take permission for the safari in advance. Stay for a day ot two is recommended but remember that no bed and breakfast is available except a hut inside the sanctuary so you need to arrange for your own.
