Peliatan Village
As the tourism object Peliatan village was located on sub province of Gianyar. This location oftenly visited by both foreign and local tourist with purpose to buy traditional craft or watching the traditional show. The location is near by Ubud, which has very beautiful natural panorama. Peliatan village has good potency in art and culture and the place of artistic man. On this village grow up various of art activities, like dance art, art of idol, carve art and painting art. There are live several figures of Tabuh art which had a lot of experince and very famous in national or international. The name are: Anak agung Gede Mandra, I wayan Gandra, I wayan Gerindem, dan I Made Lebah, all of them altogether merge into sekeha Gong Gunung Sari Peliatan village which have a lot role to stimulate the tourist came to peliatan village. Not rarely among them follow to feel art and take a role as penabuh. They learn to dance and learn how to hit a drum to the teachers. In artistic area of paint, carve and idol, Peliatan village also have high enough potency. Growth of the art paint and idol art has expanded since entry of Hinduism.
Sebatu and Pujung Villages
Sebatu village located on the north of Tegallalang village, part of Tegallalang, while Banjar or Punjung orchard including on Sebatu village. From the Peliatan village, the direction to Sebatu village is direct to the north, on this location there are lot of idol maker through the street, with a litle juke they make a beatiful chisel. In this village there is a temple which called as Gunung Kawi Sebatu temples.
Sebatu village oftenly visited by local of international tourist with purpose to see and buy traditional crafting which made in form of Banana tree, fruits, flowers, anthique idol, Garuda idol and the others which made from wood. In the Sebatu village found a lot of ancient historical evidence. Those evidence is a Lingga in several temples, ceremonial which doesn’t use a pedande (a leader priest), and there is not a Padmasana on the temples in the surrounding of this village. The name of Sebatu village had relation with the story which included on lontar (a part of bibles/ papyrus) which called as lontar Usana Bali that told story of Mayadenawa. When the war become between Mayadenawa and Batara Indra, Mayadenawa has lose and go to the north. Causes by lost of the energy when he runing while the enemy keep pursuing, Mayadenawa drop into a stone, then this stone given name Sauh Sebatu. With the development of time the words of Sauh Batu change into to be ‘Sebatu’.
