Jembrana is a one of sub province in Bali which is located in west Bali. With capital town is Negara, the totally amount of Jembrana area is about 841.8 km2 which is almost of the area is a forest. The forest is fill with tropical flora and fauna. With the huge range of forest make the forest area in Jembrana is state by the government as the conservation area which called as West Bali National Park. It is very interested to visit.
Beside the beautiful natural condition, Jembrana has interesting traditional art to see. This traditional art was called as Jegog Karawitan which playing traditional music instrument that called as Gamelan. Gamelan is a set of traditional music instrument that made from bamboo. The beautiful songs that shown the characteristics of Bali produced by the instrument. It was has differential characteristics of sound with another ‘Karawitan music in Bali, so it hear very different.
Located in west Bali Jembrana is often called as gate to enter Bali from Java Island with Bali strait as the border. The distance from port of ‘Ketapang Banyuwangi’ to the port of ‘Gilimanuk Bali is about 30 minutes by fery boat travel. Almost of resident who lives in Jembrana is immigrant who comes from east Java that already have close characteristics.
