Let's get ready to La Rambla!

If sangria and paella aren't enough to wet your appetite for a Pilgrimage to Spain, then perhaps a word wind tour of La Rambla in central Barcelona will do the trick. Come pilgrim...follow me...La Rambla is not just a street, its a journey in itself. On average, 150 000 people walk their Spanish talk down 1.2 kilometers of tree lined, pedestrian heaven.

Locals, tourists, it makes no difference, everybody wants to say they've experienced the street artists, live performances, the Wax Museum, the Erotica Museum and the Modernist Boqueria Market of La Rambla. The symphony of La Rambla will be music to your ears, complete with the constant chatter and laughter of patrons. Walking tours are becoming all the more popular as city centers become pedestrianised all over the world. Barcelona is no different and has welcomed the new kind of traffic...human traffic.

As Tourism Radio gears up to launch their Walking Tours in partnership with Eurostar Hotels, visitors to Spain won't miss out on any of the country's highlights and they can enjoy them at their leisure. So you won't miss out on much, not even the fact that the famous painter Joan Miro actually created an artwork on the Barcelona Ramblas. Most visitors walk right over the Miro without even knowing it, but not Tourism Radio listeners...they have all that information on their top notch MP3 players.

Have you booked your ticket yet? The Ramblas are rumbling and ready to be explored...
