Forget about the runaway bride this one is going to stick up for her guests and beat the cops that are trying to break up the family feud. It's the stuff hillbilly dreams are made of and I'm sure it's a story that will be told to the grand kids as they listen with horrified looks on their faces. If you haven't come across the story yet, let me elaborate for you.
Picture a Spanish Bride complete with pearly white smile and a dress that makes all the woman in the bridal party green with envy, walking down the aisle marrying the man of her dreams. Then we change scenes to the reception, people are drinking, getting frisky, breaking it down on the dance floor and before you know it all hell's broken loose. Family is fighting family and the hotel staff decides to call the cops on this all night fight fest.
The cops arrive ready and willing to keep the peace, even though there is serious crime they could be putting a stop too and this bride decides to grab one of the officers by the scruff of the neck and slap him. Mmmmm.....not bright. So the story has a not so happy ending, the wedding night that little girl's fantasize about is shattered by the harsh reality of a night in jail.
I'm really not one to talk about family's getting a little tipsy and causing a bit of chaos and I'm sure that there are many of you out there that will agree with me, but this is going a little too far. No one wants to have this as there wedding story, no glitz, no glamour, no dancing the night away, only sitting in a cell, white dress and all, trying to get yourself a little more sober than when you arrived. There's no turning back now, what's done is done, but a word of advice, if you happen to get divorced and remarried, remember that assaulting a police officer is a no go zone or inviting a family in distress is not the wisest idea, rather elope.
