There should be less traffic the next time you visit the historic town of Benidorm.
It's extremely annoying when you travel to a small seaside town and the next thing you know, there's traffic everywhere. Your idea of a quiet holiday ends up being shattered by smokey trucks and irate drivers honking their horns. Benidorm is a Spanish town located on Valencias coastline that has had this problem for sometime now. This great little town with an interesting history looks like it would be the perfect place for a chilled out holiday by the sea but as soon as travelers make their way into the town center, the traffic becomes unbearable. The way I see it is some places in the world just aren't meant to cater for never ending lines of vehicles. Benidorms town hall may have come up with a solution. It's been decided that only emergency vehicles and town residents will be allowed to drive in the town center. For some time now the people of Benidorm have wanted to pedestrianise their town again.
If I lived in a scenic coastal wonder like Beinedorm I would also want the area to have a walking culture, like it used to.
