Sibu Soren When the Sunday paper stuck to the Raj Bhawan, it was his sixth dismissal in a short life span of six years. Every time he was forced by legal and political situation to resign.
But with the recent departure Sunday evening, made the judge a brief overview of his name. He was the only politician in India who have to resign under pressure three times as union minister and three times as Jharkhand chief minister.
Indeed, policies and processes listed as game ladder and hose to the veteran Jharkhand movement since the 23 May 2004, when he was first taken into the union government as minister for coal and mines. Just over two months swear him in as a minister in the Manmohan Singh government was Magistrate forced to withdraw from the government on July 24, 2004, after a court in Jamtara (Jharkhand) issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against him in the famous Chirudih butchery case.
Soren was again taken into the Union Cabinet 27 November 2004 as minister for coal, after he secured bail in the Chirudih case after a three-month stay in Jamtara camp jail. But he has to withdraw again from the union cabinet on March 2nd 2005, when he was sworn in as Jharkhand chief minister for the first time.
Too bad, but kept chasing him without a miss. Soren had to resign on the ninth day of becoming CM after he failed to get majority in assembly 11 March 2005.
As it happens in the game ladder and hose, Soren was again re-inducted into the Union administration with the same portfolio of 29 January 2006. But the hose again made his act.
This time the snake bite was stronger. Soren was again forced to withdraw from the Union cabinet on 28 November 2006 after a Delhi court convicted him in the famous Shashinath Jha murder case.
He was acquitted of this murder case by Delhi High Court 22 August 2007. After a long wait over 12 months, Soren was sworn in as Chief Minister of Jharkhand, for the second time, 27 August 2008.
But he again was forced to withdraw 12 January 2009 after he faces embarrassing defeat at the Tamar urban poll and receiving flak from various quarters tried to cling to the CM's post despite losing the election. After he retired was the fifth Jharkhand placed under the President's Article 19 January 2009.
