Singapore launches code of conduct for private bankers

Reuters, 5 Apr 2011(Reuters) - Singapore's private banking industry has launched a new code of conduct to help promote best practices in the city-state's booming wealth management sector.The code, drawn up by Singapore's Private Banking Advisory Group, will require private banking advisers to pass a competency assessment before they can provide any financial advice.
