A team of armed robbers broke into Dolph Lundgren's villa on the Costa del Sol, tied up his wife, who was home alone, and terrorised her into handing over cash and jewellery.
Now this may not seem like a funny story and I'm sure his wife was very traumatised by the incident but I really couldnt help but laugh at the fact that when one of the robbers recognised the star in a fmaily protrait, they all high tailed it out of there.
As I read this story I couldnt understand why burglars would be scared of this man and my colleagues were quite horrified to find out that I didnt know who he was. In my defense, I recognised his face but that was about it.
It turns out that this Swedish actor , who is a whopping 6 feet tall, has a black belt in Karate and rose to fame in his role as Russian boxer Ivan Drago in the fourth of the Rocky films. He has since starred in more than 40 films and trains up to 6 days a week and he recently took part in a six-round exhibition fight against a Russian wrestler in Moscow. Is this guy for real?
All I can say is that lucky for the burglars he wasn't home at the time or I have a feeling it would have ended badly for them. So Dolph all this blogger can say is, Tourism Radio wishes you and your wife well after this incident and be assured that your reputation certainly does precede you!
