RIP Patrick Swayze
The world is in a frenzy with news this morning, Patrick Swayze, our beloved Johnny, died at the age of 57 from deadly pancreatic cancer. The world loses another talented person. It makes you question your life and if what you are doing is what is truly making you happy. We tend to see celebrities as invincible and powerful and because of all their money, nothing can harm them, but the truth is, they're exactly like us. We are all fragile.
The only thing we can do is make the most of the time we have, live every day to its fullest. I know I'm relying on the trusted cliche on this one, but it rings true. To be completely honest, I was never a die hard Patrick fan, but I thoroughly enjoyed the contribution he made to entertainment. His dancing was priceless and even though I never knew him. he always seemed to be one of the good guys. The down to earth ones that people are just naturally drawn to.
My condolences to his family, let's hope that he truly did have the time of his life and now he's on to bigger and better things, wherever he might be.
