The guys and gals at the Spanish Tourist Board have come up with a new slogan in an attempt to bring as many tourists as possible to their country this year.
If the idea of scenic shores, beautiful people, impeccable architecture and fine cuisine aren't bringing enough visitors to Spain then I'm not sure what will but the Tourist Board reckon they do. "I Need Spain" is their new slogan which they think will help entice more travelers to visit this great part of the world. This is all part of an advertising campaign which has been drawn up by Joan Mesquida, the Secretary of State for Tourism. The campaign is being led by celebrity chef Ferran Adria, who has already started appearing on posters that the tourist board hope will get their message out there. The Spanish Government expect that the new campaign will be seen by over 400 million would be visitors to Spain. This could be possible since time for Spain has been purchased on some of the largest television networks including Fox, CNN and National Geographic.
It looks as though the campaign is being aimed at travelers who have visited Spain in the past and other countries who have never even thought of visiting one of the best holiday destinations on earth.
