Located on the plain of the second largest river in Spain, Seville is a southern city renowned for vibrant festivities, intimidating architecture and true Spanish culture. What else would you expect from a city whose inhabitants are collectively known as Sevillanos? Not only is Seville one of Spains major cities, it's also the capital of the Andalusia region of the country. In my opinion, the city center is one of the best places to be in the city, the area is well pedestrianised as any true Spanish city should be and there are many notable attractions that are all just a short walk away. When you look around at the impressive cathedrals and beautifully built museums it's hard to believe that this city is over 2000 years old but it's true. A popular past time in Seville is to hang out in one of the many scenic parks around the city area, an activity perfectly suited to the hot Mediterranean climate in this part of Spain.
