The World's first double leg transplant is a bought to be performed and you'll never guess where.
It's official, a new experimental form of surgery has been given the go ahead, to carried out in the Spanish city of Valencia. It will be the first double leg transplant in medical history and the countries transplant commission are happy with the unique operation being performed in a Spanish hospital. The transplant will take place at Valencia's La Fe Hospital on a patient who is unable to take prostheses. The medical team, involved in the procedure will be headed up by an experienced surgeon. He is none other then Pedro Canades, the same man who carried out the first face transplant in Spain.
The experienced surgeon is confident that the transplant will be a success and says that it won't be long before him and his team have to get started.
