Top Chef season 7 Episode 2:Watch Outside the Lunch Box Online S07E02 – Top Chef season 7 Episode 2 called “Outside the Lunch Box” aired last night on Bravo. In this episode of Top Chef: D.C. the remaining 16 chefs left in the competition were told that they had 30 minutes to create a “bipartisan” sandwich during the Quickfire Challenge – but there was a major twist – they were tied up in twos with each chef using one hand.
Working in pairs while joined by a double apron turned out to be extremely difficult.
Here is what happened:
-Despite the madness Angelo and Tracey were able to make a flounder sandwich with siracha mayo that looked yummy.
-Andrea and Kevin cooked up a Philly Cuban with pickle.
-Amanda and Tamesha explained their sandwich saying “We just have a grilled sandwich.It has Prosciutto, Swiss cheese, mustard and pepper salsa”
-Alex and Tim who both have a classical French background, made a “Croque Madame” , how convenient.
-Jacqueline and Stephen were able to put their two heads and two hands together to create a saba vinegar onions, avocado and grilled chicken.
-Kenny and Ed made an original chili-rubbed ahi tuna sandwich with cucumber and mango slaw.
-Kelly and Arnold had a brilliant idea of putting a “play on South Asian street food,” and their imagination brought us a curry-rubbed grilled chicken with honey and sambal .
-Eventually Tiffany and Lynne created a flatbread saltimbocca with goat cheese and artichokes.
-And the winners were Angelo once again and Tracey thanks to their (Sandwich with Flounder Marinated in Fish Sauce, Spicy Sriracha Mayo, Pickled Red Onions and Herbaceous Salad) nice surprise.
