Singapore Passes Amendments To Maintenance Of Parents Act

Gov Monitor, 24 Nov 2010The Maintenance of Parents (Amendment) Bill has been passed in Parliament with an emphasis on conciliation as a key objective of the amendments.Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports, said his Ministry strongly supports the objectives of the proposed amendments which emphasise conciliation.
