Singapore exchange to launch world's fastest trading engine in August

People's Daily Online, 19 Jan 2011Singapore Exchange will launch the world's fastest trading engine on Aug. 15, the bourse announced Wednesday.The new system, called SGX Reach, will boast an order response time of 90 microseconds "door-to-door" and be able to handle 1 million order book changes per second per partition, which is 100 times the capacity of the existing engine, it said.
