Eircom, shareholders to meet over EUR 300 mln rescue plan

Telecompaper, 21 Feb 2011A series of meetings have been scheduled this week betweek Eircom's management and unions, as well as two shareholder blocs, Singapore Technologies and the Eircom Share Ownership Trust (Esot), over a proposed EUR 300 million rescue plan, the Sunday Times reported. Eircom says it will breach its lending covenants some time this year if it does not receive fresh investment.
