I've always wondered what it would be like to be fabulously wealthy, to not have to worry about "the common mans problems". I discussed this with a friend of mine recently, I remember saying to her that if you had all the money in the world, everything would be alright, all my problems would simply fade away. Of course, this is clearly naive thinking on my part. As always, my friend imparted her pearls of wisdom and calmly said "You would have a new set of issue to deal with." I realized that I had never really thought about it like that. What would it REALLY be like if you had all the money in the world?

One thing I have always believed is that when a person struggles financially, when there are limitations to what can be done, respect is nurtured. A respect for other people, a respect for what is right and even though bound financially, there is a freedom in knowing how difficult life can really be and a deep appreciation for the important things in life such as family, children, friends, love and truth.

So after I felt better about myself and the fact that I don't have millions but I have what is important (and that just might be the poor person in me talking) I came across a story in the news that almost confirmed what I believe in.

A socialite, Clare Irby, a descendant of the Guinness brewing family, behaved appallingly on a long haul flight. She stripped down to her underwear after getting drunk, allowed her son to run around without a nappy on, treated the airline staff like.....you know the rest and started getting it on with a passenger, who's girlfriend happened to be on the same flight. Now, of course, because of her wealth she will never fully understand the consequences of her actions. She will never learn to be respectful because I'm sure daddy will always be more than willing to bail out his little princess.

Another great example of someone lacking any kind of respect for his fellow man is Kanye West who stole a momentous moment from Taylor Swift after she had received an award for best video. I watched the video in horror as he so callously told the audience that Beyonce's video was better. These are people who have no boundaries, who don't realize the consequences of their actions because they have never been made to face them. Don't even get me started on Paris Hilton.....

These are examples of people who can afford to do whatever they want and I consider them to be ignorant jackass's, thanks for that one Obama. So much good can be done with the power and money that these people have and instead they behave like mindless idiots, maybe it's the parents that should be blamed, for not teaching their privileged children right from wrong.

With great power, comes great responsibility. Running with scissors.......I'm sure that many poor people have uttered these words but I'm laying them on you today, one day when I am rich, I will use my power and money for the good of my family as well as mankind, and you can hold me to that. In the meantime, I will continue to read these ridiculous stories and hope that one day these fools will understand what life is really about and stop living in their lala lands.

What do women want? When I speak to close male friends of mine, the look of confusion and concentration is quite hilarious and I can't understand why it's so difficult to grasp the most basic of concepts. Truth, Caring, Listening and Consideration. I've just summed up what women want in 4 simple words. But this seems to confuse the male mind even further, she doesn't want my honest opinion right? she just talks all the time, it's impossible for me to listen to it ALL, besides there's wrestling on too? Why must I open the door for her, it's the 21st century and she has arms?

I will be the first to agree that as time moves forward women are becoming more and more independent, running homes and maintaining high paced careers but I truly believe that at the end of the day, there is a part of a woman that yearns to be cared for and looked after by a man. Now as I explained this to my dear male friend, this is how he interpreted it, "She wants me to buy her expensive things". No son, you gotta keep your ears open and do a little more concentrating. I told him that it's the thought that counts, the more effort you put into something special, the more pleased she'll be. He, of course, laughed and said that I was different from other women and that those things don't mean anything to me but he was wrong.

A new survey conducted in England on numerous women, from all walks of life, concluded that women are truly interested in the cliches. What's that? You want to know what the cliche's are? Of course you do. Send her a romantic text or email, write her a poem from the heart and not downloaded off the net, run her a hot bath after a hard day at the office,offer her a coat when she's cold, hold the door open for her, wake her up with breakfast in bed, compliment her. It's really very simple guys. It doesn't get any easier than that, I can almost guarantee that with a little extra effort, that will cost you practically nothing, she'll be putty in your hands.

And one last thing, if you truly love your woman, this will come quite naturally once you get into the swing of things. Here's to good relationships, good sex and good times!

Money really does make the world go round, we love to hate it and hate to love it. I caught myself thinking about money on my way to work this morning, I think it's on my mind so often that it's become second nature to think about, like the action of brushing your teeth or flushing the toilet. I envisioned winning the lottery, buying myself a great big mansion, a flashy sports car and starting my own magazine, the sky's the limit when the wallet's sorted out. But then of course, as I'm sure many do, I started justifying it to myself, if I won the lottery I would give to charity, yes that's it! I'd have to win because I would be generous and worthy of receiving such a blessing!

But truth be told, money comes with it's own set of problems, and if you had so much would you really be willing to give it away? I think we would inevitably want more and more, it's the way of the world, once you've bought everything you're heart desires, what else is there to want but more money?? Money, money, money, money, I'm pretty much sick of it, I'm sick of not having it, I'm sick of always wanting it and I'm sick of it taking over my mind. Can there be another Secret? The first one is clearly not working out.....

That's exactly how I felt when I came across a story in the news that made me want to scream with laughter! A British man flew into Madrid yesterday after inheriting a pretty sum of money, in his drunken state he started handing out thousands of euros to people passing by. It wasn't long before people began flocking towards him, once again proving that money really does make the world go round. Authorities intercepted and sent him right back to where he came from.

I sit in an office with two very different people and after telling them about this story one of them said "What a legend!" and the other said, "One man's loser is another man's legend." So true...

I personally think he's a legend, the story doesnt tell you very much about why he did it or if he even knew what he was doing but I like to think that he's a man who puts more faith and energy into himself and life than a piece of paper. I know that's probably not the case, but for today and the way I'm feeling about the benjamins, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
