Peaceful Siesta's Priority

The Spanish City of Granada has introduced a new set of regulations ensuring a peaceful Siesta.

Between 3 and 5 o'clock in the afternoon anyone making "unnecessary noise" can be fined up to 3,000 euros. Among the prohibited activities are shouting, singing, dancing or slamming a door.

The rules are part of a swathe of new regulations brought in by Granada's city council in a bid to improve life in the historic Andalucian city, which boasts Spain's most visited monument, the Alhambra.

I enjoy a good nap as much as the rest of the population but isnt this taking it a bit far? Noise is apart of life, in my opinion, and if they start restricting this, what else can they restrict? On the positive side, people can sleep peacefully with no disturbances and for those of you that dont sleep, all I can say is "SHHHHHH!"
