Yes it's true,Real Madrid are now the richest club in the World of Football.
When ever I hear that some farmer in the USA has the largest frying pan in the world or the tallest tree house in the southern hemisphere, I just couldn't be bothered but the latest news on Real Madrid is something else. The results of Deloite's annual study on football finances are out and the Spaniards have come out on top. Each year the professional services organization takes a look at the financial records and tells the world who the richest football side on the planet are. According to Deloites study, the side are the first club to make over 400 million Euro's in a single year. The funny thing is that Real Madrid's Spanish rivals Barcelona came in second. The Northerner's managed to knock Man United off their spot from last year but they did end up in third place. This could be due to the weakening British Pound or the fact that the Spaniards are just outdoing the rest.
So this should be an interesting year ahead for Real Madrid, let's see if they can hold onto first place.
